God's Arrangement, M.C.

As I look back on how far the Lord has brought me in my Christian life, I have to praise Him for His sovereign arrangement. At every stage of my life He has arranged brothers, not just any brother, but the right brothers at the right time, to take care of me.

When I arrived in the United States from Taiwan I did not know a word of English, but by His arrangement, a brother who knew how to speak Chinese, took care of me. Because he could speak Chinese, it was easy for me to get help from him not only in improving my English but also in my spiritual growth. During my junior high school years he would call me every weekday morning around 6 a.m. to read the Bible with me. He would also take me out with other brothers who spent their precious time to take care of me and encourage me to go on in my spiritual growth.

During my first semester in Fullerton College I was searching for the believers that meet with the local church. I knew that there was a college-age meeting in Fullerton, but did not know where and how to get in contact with them. One day during my first semester I was studying at the quad, and I saw a man wearing a plaid shirt and khaki pants with something inside of his back pocket, which looked like a pocket-size Bible. He walked by me, and in that instant I had a feeling that he could be a student from the Full-Time Training in Anaheim. So I put down my books and asked him if he met with the church in Fullerton, and he said “Yes”. Since then I have been meeting with the local church in Fullerton.

Meeting with all the brothers, who the Lord arranged for me, really preserved my Christian life. Without those brothers I do not know where I would be. Praise the Lord for His sovereign arrangement; He really knows how to work things out for His children!
